At our 2015 AGM we changed the bylaws to remove these seven chairs from the board:
- Communications – Carol Hurst, communications@bonniedoon.ca, reporting to the President
- Fundraising – Stephanie Wold, fundraising@bonniedoon.ca, reporting to the Treasurer
- Membership – a volunteer, membership@bonniedoon.ca, reporting to the Secretary
- Nominating – an ad hoc committee reporting to the Vice President
- Skating Rink – managed by the Vice President
- Sports – managed by the Programs Chair
In the year leading up to the 2015 AGM we operated with the seven-member board, to prove the concept. By not having to attend board meetings, the non-director volunteers can use their time to work directly on programs benefiting Bonnie Doon.
