The team at La Cité, the vendor community, and the surrounding neighbourhoods all came together this summer to make the French Quarter Farmers' Market a success, a new spot in South Central Edmonton to stock up on groceries, specialty food products and to enjoy live music and the market's ambience.
On October 27 the market is holding a Pumpkin Growers' and Carvers' Contest. It is inviting community members to take part, offering prizes to the 3 top pumpkin growers and 3 top pumpkin carvers. Contact email@example.com for more information and to sign up for the contest.
An After-Harvest and a Christmas Beer and Wine Tasting are also planned.
The French Quarter Farmers' Market runs Sundays from Noon to 5 pm at La Cité Francophone, 8627-91 street.
The French Quarter Farmers' Market thanks the Bonnie Doon community for its initial and continued support,
