A message from Rutherford School:
On Saturday, March 7th, 2020, Rutherford Elementary School, in Bonnie Doon, is hosting a fundraiser 'For the Love of Rutherford', which is a gala and silent auction event.
Our school is facing a 9% budget cut this year. Proceeds from this crucial fundraiser will go directly towards enriching student programming at Rutherford School.
We are reaching out to the Bonnie Doon community to see if you'd consider supporting our school by donating an item to our silent auction? Donations are never too big or small; we are grateful for all donations received! Donor recognition will be given during the event and you will be listed in the program.
Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Rutherford School office, 8620 91 St by Monday, March 2. Or for your convenience, a donation pick-up may be arranged by calling the school office at 780 466-2891 or emailing email@example.com .
Thank you in advance for your support of our elementary school. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

They say: "We hoping to have a large turn-out, as community feedback is very important to us and to the success of the Shelter Program. Men: Is it time we got together for ourselves and to serve our community?
Bonnie Doon Community League is starting a "Men’s Shed". Beginning in March, 2020, we'll meet Saturday mornings in our rink shack. There are five men’s sheds in Edmonton, each with a different slant on what they do and how they work. Generally though, all sheds build community among men and contribute to the wider neighbourhood.
Men’s sheds are for all men – the singles, family guys and those busy at work or busy at retirement. Together, we’re here for each other and to help or serve where and when we can in our neighbourhood.
We hope you'll visit, to see how you might fit in and to find out what is possible when we get together!
Ladies & others: Is there a man in your life who might benefit from getting out & about and spending time with others? Maybe he needs a gentle nudge in our direction!
