The Bonnie Doon Men's Shed
Update for March 28, 2022: We will resume in April.
We started the shed to tackle loneliness and isolation, a common problem for Canadian men, particularly as we grow older. We're guys who live in the Bonnie Doon area, meeting regularly to chat, meet other local men and plan occasional projects that improve our neighbourhood.
In our first few months we've started a community garden, made repairs to our hall & rink shack, built a Little Free Library and hosted a bike ride to historic spots in Bonnie Doon. We also met, chatted and enjoyed each other's company!
If you have questions, write to Mark at [email protected]. Thanks to John Taylor for launching this effort in Bonnie Doon and to Punch Jackson for his support.
