Drop In Pickleball
Pickleball, the “fun game with a funny name”, is Canada’s fastest growing sport! It is a game that borrows rules from tennis, badminton & table tennis and creates its own rules. It has three very notable differences from those three other sports:
We play outdoors at Dermott District Park (on the tennis courts near the pool at 8648 81 Street), Wednesdays at 4pm. For more information, write to Karen, secretary@bonniedoon.ca.
When the weather becomes cold we switch to playing indoors at Bonnie Doon Community Hall, 9240 93 Street, Tuesdays at 2:00 PM.
- the non-volley zone (aka “the kitchen”)
- the underhand serve
- the double bounce rule.
