People who arrive at the rink wanting to take advantage of Family Skate and see skaters with sticks assume the No Sticks rule is not being enforced and go home.

In the winter of 2024/2025 we made a second, small rink between the shack and the hall. It is especially popular with families with young children learning to skate. We're pleased to report that adults learning to skate use it too! No hockey sticks or pucks on the mini rink, please.
