Does your child want to learn to skate? Classes are available at the Bonnie Doon rink, 9240 93 Street. Classes will be held Wednesday evenings from January 9 to February 27, 2013.
3-5 Years Old
6:00 pm to 6:30.
This program offers learn to skate instruction for your preschooler. We'll focus on fun, participation, achievement, some songs and, of course, the basics of ice-skating. Your child will need skates (not bob skates) and a CSA-approved hockey helmet. The course costs $34. There are 12 spots available. Online course code is 486381. |
6-12 Years Old
6:45 pm to 7:30
Your child will learn the basics of skating in a fun-filled class. We will emphasize fundamental movements such as gliding, stopping and skating backwards. Besides skates your child will need a CSA-approved hockey helmet. The course costs $41. There are 16 spots available. Online course code is 486431. |
