BDCL Board Job Descriptions: Vice-President

Responsibilities

Is fully conversant with the duties and responsibilities of the president and the president’s current work.

Acts in the absence of the president.

Acts as a signing officer for cheques and other documents.

Is responsible for these reports:

• Hall Rental Agent
  
• Hall Steward
  

Responsibility for those two reports means

• Maintaining BDCL policy and procedures for renting and maintaining the hall
  
• Ensuring the league's values and mission statement are reflected in those policy and procedures
  
• Working with the Agent and Steward in preparing their respective budgets
  
• Communicating the concerns of the Agent and Steward to the board.
