Interested in becoming (or returning as) a referee? Our zone uses referees for U9 games and up. Here's information on two upcoming Alberta Soccer Association certification / refresher courses:
Mini Referee Course – The course will certify students to referee U9 and assistant referee U11+. Students must be at least 12 years of age as of May 15, 2022, to register for the course, scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Strathcona Centre Community League.
Entry Level Course – This course is open to children age 14 and up as of May 15, 2022. It is a two-day course to certify referees to referee or assistant referee at all levels. Once a referee has the Entry Level Course, they will have to take just a three-hour refresher each year to continue refereeing. Date and location to be confirmed, upon registration.
