The league welcomes our new Social Chair, Karen Good! Karen stepped up at our April 9 AGM. At the same time, Daniel Kaliel, our long time Treasurer was elected to another term. A term lasts two years.

Join the Keepers of Mill Creek Ravine, Bonnie Doon Community League, and our neighbor community leagues for our annual cleanup of this green oasis.
Date: Sunday May 7, 2017 Time: 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Rain or shine. BBQ starts @ 12pm and runs until 1pm Bring the whole family - dogs are welcome! Gloves and bags will be provided. North Mill Creek Clean Up - Bonnie Doon, Strathcona Meeting Point: Peace Mile Rock, located at the North end of the upper parking lot at Mill Creek Pool. We will be cleaning up the area between Mill Creek Bridge and Connors Road. Volunteers are invited to a free BBQ after the cleanup. The BBQ starts at noon in the grassy area at the base of 87th Ave (north of the two houses). The BBQ is sponsored by Edmonton's French Quarter's Business Association. South Mill Creek Clean Up - Richie, Hazeldean, King Edward Park Meeting Points: Hazeldean: The Greenway at 93 Street King Edward Park: Shamrock Curling Parking Lot Ritchie: 77 Ave Stairs at the ravine (east of 96 Street) Volunteer appreciation BBQ is at Richie Hall, 7727 98 Street, from noon - 1pm. We try to keep the formal part of the AGM as short as possible. We'll briefly review programs & budget. One board members is offering to sign up for another two-year term and we will welcome a new board member – providing, of course, that they are not voted in by acclamation; you may wish to contest the positions!
