League surveys tell us that safety ranks high amongst community concerns. We want to bring Neighbourhood Watch to Bonnie Doon. Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch's mission is to build safer communities through the provision of crime prevention information and the support of neighbourhood level programs that encourage awareness, education, inclusion and participation.
We are looking for someone who can get Neighbourhood Watch going in Bonnie Doon. This person, our ENW Community Representative, would attend a training session Saturday, January 28. That session is a five-hour commitment but after that we expect the representative would spend only a few hours each month on the program. The league would promote Neighbourhood Watch, pay for posters, etc.
