In July, Stewart and team were excavating near the open grassy area near 88th Avenue. This is where an early 20th century meat packing plant (Vogel’s meats, founded 1902) was located.
Throughout August they will be excavating where we were excavating last year, roughly 150m south of Connor's Road on the east side of the bank, where an early 20th century industrial workers community was located.
