Canadian Blood Services is reaching out to local community focused organisations in the hope that they will garner support for their main blood donor clinic, located in the university area at 8249 -114 St, during the Holiday Season.
At any point in time approximately only 1 in 2 Canadians are eligible to donate yet only 1 in 60 actually do.
Canadian Blood Services recommends that donors confirm their eligibility to donate at www.blood.ca prior to making an appointment.
Individual appointments can be booked on-line at blood.ca.
