Thank you to everyone that made the Bonnie Doon Community Garage Sale on April 29 a huge success! To the shoppers and donors, we thank you for enabling our event to take place!
A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped price, set up and run the event, our bakers and kids who ran the lemonade stand, including: Shirley, Elizabeth, Ron, Carol, Mark, Karen, Don, Kerri, Karmen, Stephanie, Natalie, Nicola, Christiane, Marie-Danielle, Agata, Sarah, Aurora, Natasha, Wendy, Jessica, Heather, Steve, Darrel, Ivan, Stacey, Michelle, Amy, Tyson, Manishi, Shauna, Kathryn, Margaret, Anna, Trina, Maya, Julien, Clara, Andrew and Mitchell.
A grand total of $3519 was raised, after expenses (supplies, postcards, hall cleaning, volunteer refreshments), broken down as follows:
$214 from the Lemonade Stand,
$412 from the Hot Dog Stand

The Community League is donating all the proceeds to the Bonnie Doon Refugee Sponsorship Group this year.
After 3 years running the garage sale event, Nicola is taking a break. We'd like to thank Nicola for all her hard work, the Community League truly appreciates her efforts.
