Effective immediately, the right-hand free flow lane from Connors Road to the James MacDonald Bridge will be closed until Monday May 7 for emergency road repairs. Two lanes from Connors Road to James MacDonald Bridge remain open.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and stay left to avoid the closure.
The City of Edmonton greatly appreciates and thanks drivers for their patience.
Update, Sept 6, 2012: The second lane for exiting Connors Road northbound to take the Jame MacDonald bridge is finally open again. I guess the construction crew found much more to repair than was apparent when they made their original, one-week estimate!
