A proposed new student replacement school in Ottewell resulting in the amalgamation (closure) of St. Gabriel, St. James, St. Brendan and St. Kevin schools will have a tremendous impact on the 21 southeast communities that these schools currently serve.
Representatives from civic and provincial government, community league associations, school parent representatives and community members at large will be in attendance to present information and discuss mature neighborhood renewal and specifically the impact the proposed school at 7211 – 96A Avenue may have on area communities. We plan to discuss and develop possible alternatives or actions for community school sustainability.
