Update, January 25 2026. The City has removed the sand boxes at community league halls. You can still get free sand.
The City provides sand for your use. It's in a wooden box at the north end of the Bonnie Doon Hall, 9240 - 93 Street. Of course, you will need to bring your own container to hold your sand and you might also need a small scoop (our scoops sometimes walk away!).
Please take only what you need. If you find the box is low on sand could you please email us? Thanks.
