As sad as it is that summer is nearing its end, it also means games are back in business. We will resume our monthly games night in September with the same format as before:
When: Sunday, September 27
Where: Bonnie Doon Hall, 9240 – 93 Street
We will start at 7:30 pm: playing a fun, ice-breaker that anyone can jump into at any time, such as One Night Werewolf, Cards Against Humanity, or Ricochet Robots.
At 7:50 pm we will split out to two tables:
- Table 1: a short and simple game such as Settlers of Catan, 7 Wonders, or Ticket to Ride
- Table 2: a longer strategy game such as Puerto Rico or Agricola (or a game you’d like to share!)
At 9:30 pm
- Table 1: it’s too early to go home for some, so let’s play again!
All Community League members and their guests are welcome to join. You can even pick up a BDCL membership that night if you don’t already have one (just let me know in advance). We’re super easy-going and fun and welcome all (adult) gamer types – strategists, wordsmiths, card sharks, etc. Bring along your own game or just come to meet new people in the neighbourhood.
Please let Suzi know, [email protected], if you’re coming and which table you’d prefer to play at.
