Past BDCL league president, Gordon Huntingford, passed away peacefully in Victoria, BC, Friday, March 13, 2015.
Gordon's son, Dale, recalls that Gordon like to tell the story of "when the community was building the original hall. The volunteers had built the first wall and called it a day but then a wind came along that night and blew it down requiring the work to recommence."
There will be a Tea Reception to share stories of Gordon's life at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park. More about Gordon, here.
