The Green Shack Playground Program in Bonnie Doon is gearing up for another summer. The program gives kids between the ages of six and twelve a chance to join in games, sports, crafts, music, drama and special events. Children under the age of six are welcome as well but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
The fun starts at Bonnie Doon Park on July 2, 2014. Green Shack Playground Programs will be offered from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. They will run until August 22.
The Green Shack Playground Program is free.
Programs are led by staff who:
• Ensure participants play safely; parents are responsible for their children at all times and must be available in the event of an emergency.
• Are easily identifiable by their blue shirts and name tags.
• May be assisted by volunteer Leaders in Training.
• Have completed a Security Clearance process, are trained in First Aid and are certified specialists in FUN!
Programming is still available on rainy days but will be cancelled during severely inclement weather.
