Do you know a senior on your street or block who is unable to shovel their driveway or sidewalk? Can you spare a few moments to help them out? Bonnie Doon Community League encourages you to lend a helping hand and clear away snow for neighbours unable to do so on their own.
Perhaps you are a senior (55+). The South East Edmonton Seniors Association can assist in arranging for snow removal, yard work and home maintenance. Membership fee is not required. Senior is referred to screened contractor(s) and/or neighbourhood helpers depending on the situation. Senior negotiates and pays contractor directly for services.
