Bonnie Doon will be getting standard street lights as part of the City of Edmonton’s Neighbourhood Renewal program.
The league needed to get 51% of signatures of property owners to support decorative streetlights. Although there was a lot of interest in decorative streetlights, we did not have enough volunteers to door knock and get the minimum number of signatures required by the City. A big thank you to Barrett Hall and the other Bonnie Dooners who worked hard on the streetlight issue.
Open House
Bonnie Doon residents and property owners are invited to attend the City of Edmonton's final open house prior to neighbourhood reconstruction beginning in spring 2015. City employees will share the final neighbourhood design and information about the local improvement process and what to expect during the two-year construction period.
The open house will take place:
Date: Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Rutherford School, 8620 91 Street
There will be a formal presentation at 7 p.m.
