The league is looking for volunteers to work a 2-hour shift at the hall, giving out FolkFest parking permits (needed during the Edmonton Folk Festival by residents in north Bonnie Doon; details of 2014's program). If you work one shift, you can purchase one of our 4-day FolkFest passes at face value. We have 4 transferrable passes ($179) and 4 non-transferrable passes ($209) for sale to volunteers.
The work is easy. During the 2-hour shift you sit at a table, welcoming people who walk into the hall. The visitor shows her driver's license for proof of residency, you check off their address from our master list and give the visitor her two parking permits.
