Men: Is it time we got together for ourselves and to serve our community?
Bonnie Doon Community League is starting a "Men’s Shed". Beginning in March, 2020, we'll meet Saturday mornings in our rink shack. There are five men’s sheds in Edmonton, each with a different slant on what they do and how they work. Generally though, all sheds build community among men and contribute to the wider neighbourhood.
Men’s sheds are for all men – the singles, family guys and those busy at work or busy at retirement. Together, we’re here for each other and to help or serve where and when we can in our neighbourhood.
We hope you'll visit, to see how you might fit in and to find out what is possible when we get together!
Ladies & others: Is there a man in your life who might benefit from getting out & about and spending time with others? Maybe he needs a gentle nudge in our direction!
